• This can come down to personal preference. If you would like advice on how to best care for your skin prior to the wedding then your trial can be booked 3-4 months in advance.

I personally recommend 6-8 weeks in advance as skin conditions can change, as well as your decision on styles/ accessories. If you plan on having a spray tan on the day, its best if you can come to the trial with the tan and in a white top.

  • Bridal trials are held at my house in One Tree Hill and take approximately 1 hour and 15minutes. This is a great time to connect and discuss your makeup look and wedding aesthetic. It is so helpful if you come with a few images of makeup inspiration so that I get an idea of colours and application that you like.

The trial is the time to have a play, and try different looks so that you feel really confident on the day with the look we have created together.

  • Each client takes approximately 45 minutes, with 15 minutes at the end for touch ups.

I always recommend working backwards when deciding on a time to start. First select the time you want to be out the door, and then take at least 1 hour off for when hair/makeup is to be completed. This allows for photos, a glass of champagne and time to get into your dress.

  • Your makeup is applied in a way that will ensure maximum long lasting wear. Your foundation and eye makeup will last for hours without needing a touch up. If your skin is prone to getting oily, I recommend taking some blotting papers or Laura Mercier translucent powder to keep shine at bay.

I recommend purchasing a lipstick after the trial for your wedding day, as it is much easier and faster to apply straight from the lipstick bullet. I can also provide a lipstick pot and applicator if necessary. With every application, I will always prep your lips in away to maximise the wear of the lip product.

  • Absolutely, I frequently work with Amelia from Boutique Bride and Brooke from Hare and Hunter and could not recommend them more!
